PageKit started in early 2024 when our founding team kept running into the same problem: clients and colleagues spent days spinning up new websites for product launches, side projects, and marketing campaigns. Existing tools were either too complex (full CMS platforms) or too limited (basic link-in-bio tools). Nothing hit the sweet spot for someone who needed a real, custom-feeling website in an afternoon.
We built the first version of PageKit in six weeks. We shipped it to a small beta group of indie hackers and startup founders. The feedback was immediate and clear: people were launching pages in under an hour that previously took days. That was enough to keep going.
